My friend Mandee and I decided to do a collaboration post, and we wanted to do something light-hearted and fun! So I am writing a post on fun things to do as a single girl and Mandee is writing about self love. Definitely check out her post as well!
Being single can seem boring at times and I know it is so easy to put things off for when you do have a boyfriend. But can I encourage you to not put these things off?? Live this season to the fullest! Please, I know you don’t want to have regrets.
So let’s get to the list of fun things to do as a single girl!
10 Fun Activities for Single Girls
1. Go on that fun trip you’ve always wanted to take
Seriously, put that plan in motion. Book that flight. Buy those tickets. I mean, please be smart with your money, but if its in the budget, don’t wait for a husband to take your dream trip!
2. Plan fun girls’ nights
I think this is one of the most fun parts about being single. Girls’ nights can be so fun, whether its with your mom, sisters, cousins, or friends! Make it a monthly or even weekly thing!
3. Join a Bible study
Working on your faith is one of the most important things you can do in your single years! The accountability and growth found in a Bible study is invaluable. And it can be fun!
4. Do that activity you’ve always wanted to do
Always wanted to go sky diving? Go! I’ll just cheer you on from the ground 😉 Whatever that activity might be, go for it!
5. Plan self care nights (or days!)
These don’t have to be expensive. You can just stay home, take a bath, do a face mask, and read a book. Whatever means self care to you!
Serving is an amazing way to do God’s will, get the focus off of yourself, and have fun! I highly encourage you to plug in to a local church and serve your community. Or just serve those around you.
7. Get a new hairstyle or redecorate your room
It can be a fun time to change up your hair style or even to redecorate your room. Again, this doesn’t have to cost a lot of money! You could just rearrange your room if you want a small change.
8. Read all of those books you’ve been wanting to read
I don’t know about you, but I have a stack of books that I want to read sitting on my nightstand. Try to squeeze in time to read those books, if that is your thing!
9. Try out all of the restaurant spots
This might be my favorite activity. Haha I’m just joking, but finding new restaurants can be so fun. If you don’t live in a city with a lot of restaurants (like me!), try going to your nearest city once a month and trying a new restaurant. You can bring friends or just go solo!
10. Learn how to do something new
Don’t know how to cook? Now is the perfect time. Whatever the skill may be, I highly encourage you to find something new to learn to do. It can be so fun and also beneficial!
I hope you found something that you’d like to do in this list! This season can be fun if you choose to make it that way 🙂
What are some activities that you would add to my list? I’d love to hear in the comments!
