You guys, I am so excited for this post! Blogging truly is one of the biggest blessings of my life and I wanted to share the best resources that I personally use for my blog! Blogging can be difficult, but it’s so worth it. These resources for Christian bloggers truly have made blogging a little easier and more fun!
If you do not have a blog and are interested in getting started, I’m going to link 2 very detailed posts on how to start a blog by 2 of my blogging friends.
Read Ashley Mae Fernandez’s post here.
Read Sweetly Sally’s post here.
Well let’s get to the resources!
5 Resources for Christian Bloggers
Okay, so if you just read either of the two posts above, you know that if you want a self hosted blog, you need a hosting provider! I personally use and LOVE Siteground. They made the transition from Blogger to WordPress.org so much easier for me. And not to mention, their customer service is amazing. They kindly answered all of my “stupid” questions and calmed my fears.
If you would like to try out Siteground for only $3.95 a month, you can use my referral link here! I highly recommend it. Self-hosting my blog has been one of the greatest investments I’ve made so far.
A little sidenote: Before I switched to self-hosted, I blogged over at Blogger. It is definitely not a platform to grow on, but if you just want to try out blogging, I recommend starting there. It’s free except for buying your domain, which I bought from Google Domains.
Jordan Lee’s Blogging Courses
Alright! So who here loves Jordan Lee from Soul Scripts? I think we all know and love her, and the fact that she has created some blogging courses is amazing! We all want our blogs to be as “successful” as hers, right?
This is the course that I bought, and y’all. It literally changed everything for my blog.
If you weren’t aware, Pinterest can be a wonderful source of traffic to your blog. This course shows you exactly how to make that happen in such a clear and easy to understand way. The course is full of videos on everything you’ll need to know to succeed on Pinterest.
I get over 10x the traffic I previously got by using the methods Jordan Lee outlines in this course. I’m not even getting paid to promote this course. I just love it so much and highly recommend it! After investing in a good hosting service, this is the best investment I’ve made for my blog. It’s worth every penny.
This is the other course Jordan Lee wrote. Although I have personally not purchased it (yet), my good blogging friend Hannah did. I asked her to share with you all a little bit about what she liked!
I found this course very beneficial and I learned a lot. Jordan takes you through the way she writes and gives you guidelines on how to structure your posts. After the course I felt more confident in the way I would go about writing my posts in the future.
She will teach you why branding is important and how to begin creating your unique brand. I was able to discover who my real target audience was and how to create content that reaches them. I also found it very helpful when she taught about how have a heart check when blogging to glorify God.
Tailwind is a Pinterest pin scheduler! To really get good traffic to your blog, you should be pinning anywhere from 30-50 pins a day; sometimes even more. I personally do 35 right now. If you think about it, getting on every day and pinning 35 pins is super time consuming, and many days you just might not have the time!
Then enters Tailwind. Tailwind let’s you schedule all of your pins for weeks at a time. Such a time saver for me! Every Sunday I sit down for an hour or 2 with my laptop and Netflix, and schedule my pins for the week.
It is about $10 a month, but it is SO worth it. Jordan Lee recommends Tailwind in her Pintentionality course, and tons of other bloggers use it. Consistently pinning is key to great traffic, and Tailwind helps you with that consistent pinning!

Oh, and in case you were wondering, I create all of my pinnable images on Canva.
Blogging Mode Products
Who doesn’t want pretty blogging products?? My friend Ana from The She Approach recently opened a fun shop for bloggers called Blogging Mode. I mean, even if you aren’t a blogger you’ll find some pretty cute stuff!
Ana recently sent me this gorgeous mousepad and I’m in love with it! The colors and pattern are beautiful, not to mention the quality is amazing! The mousepad perfectly covers the marks made by my mouse on my desk. I’ve needed a mousepad for a while 😉
There are so many fun products to choose from! If you’d like $5 off of your order (who doesn’t?), click here to use my referral link!
Disclaimer: All Things Allison Marie does not agree with nor endorse some of Blogging Mode’s products. I was just sent this mousepad for my honest review, which I really do like.
This resource is free!! Y’all, community has been SOO impactful and encouraging in my blogging journey. I don’t know where I would be without it! I highly encourage you to find Facebook groups to join, other bloggers to follow, and INTERACT! Comment on other’s blogs, reach out to them, and participate in the groups.
You could even reach out to other blogs similar in size to yours and ask if they’d like to do a collaborative post. Those are always fun! You could also ask those same bloggers to guest post on your blog, or you could even guest post on theirs.
Here some Facebook groups I’m a part of that you may want to check out!
Graced College Girl Bloggers (you don’t have to be in college, just around that age. I joined as a high school senior)
Well y’all, I think that’s about it for today. I truly hope that these resources are as much of an encouragement to you as they are to me. I wouldn’t recommend anything to you that I didn’t love! They are each worth the investment. I encourage you to give them a try!
Invest in your blog. For me, it’s like investing in a ministry. Because of these resources, I’m able to reach thousands of girls each month with the Gospel, and to me that’s worth every penny!
What other resources do you use for your blog? Do you use any of the resources I mentioned? I’d love to hear from you in the comments!
With all my love,
