I don’t know about you, but I love listening to a good podcast episode while I’m driving in the car or cleaning my house. I assume you do, too, since you clicked on this post to read! Podcasts are such a fun way to learn something new, be encouraged, or hear a wise conversation between two different people. I’ve tried out and listened to many different podcasts, but there are 4 that I keep coming back to time and time again. I guess you could say that they are my tried-and-true favorites. If you are looking for some new podcasts to listen to, I hope you’ll enjoy this post on my favorite podcasts for Christian young women!
Oh, and please comment what your favorite podcasts are on this post! I am always looking for new shows to listen to and would love to try out more.

Favorite Podcasts for Christian Young Women
Behind the Bliss
This is hands down my favorite podcast! I remember listening to it on the way to and from college when it first was launched, and I still listen to it today now that I’m married and expecting my first baby. That being said, it truly is for every season of life. There are episodes on friendship, dating, marriage, motherhood, and really any faith-based topic you can think of. The host, Rachel Awtrey, covers so many topics by interviewing all different guests. There are some fun episodes where she is by herself, but the interview style of this podcast is one of the reasons I love it so much. With over 200 episodes already published, you’ll have plenty to listen to for a while!
Truth Talks with Tara
This is another podcast that is interview style, for the most part. Tara Sun is the host, and while she definitely has some solo episodes, most of her episodes have a guest. I love how fun and encouraging Tara is! I love following her on Instagram @misstarasun, and the podcast is a more in-depth part of her ministry. She also has episodes on many topics, including singleness, dating, and relationships. She is wise and always makes sure that what she says and shares aligns with God’s Word. Highly recommend! Oh, and she has a book coming out soon!
Verity
This podcast is hosted by Phylicia Masonheimer, one of my favorite authors and theologians. Her podcast is all topic based, so there are not any interviews or guests. It’s just her! But I love looking through her episodes and finding a Biblical topic that I want to learn more about. She is wonderful at putting Scripture first and letting that lead her episodes. When she discusses a topic such as the end times or whether or not Christians should celebrate a certain holiday, she always discusses the different views or options and shares Scripture and truth for each, letting you choose what to believe. She doesn’t just tell you the “right” answer but makes sure you are well informed before you make a decision. I love this about her. The most recent episode I listened to was Discerning Theology in Worship Music which was very interesting!
Faith & Friends
Georgia Brown is the host of this podcast, and she truly is just so much fun. She has the bubbliest and most joyful personality, and you can tell her joy comes from Jesus. You may know her from Instagram (@iamgeorgiabrown) as the girl who has the prayer closet. Most of her episodes are interview style, and she doesn’t shy away from talking about hard topics. Georgia is single, and although her podcast is not exclusively on singleness by any means, you may find it encouraging to listen to and/or follow her if you are single as well.
A Few Other Favorites…
I wanted to mention just a few other podcasts that I enjoy sometimes in addition to my top 4. Here they are!
- Have You Heard? with Emma Mae McDaniel
- SHE with Jordan Lee Dooley
- That Sounds Fun with Annie F. Downs
- The Homemaker’s Club
- WHOA That’s Good with Sadie Robertson Huff

I hope you have found at least one new podcast show to listen to! Again, let me know what your favorite podcasts are in the comments. I’d love to check them out.
